, PhD, is a Professor in the Department of Design and Merchandising at Colorado State University. After ten years in the retailing industry, she received her MS from Iowa State University and her PhD from the University of Maryland. She is a past president of the International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA). Her research interests include the effect of culture on consumer behavior, internationalization of retailing, and social responsibility in the global apparel and footwear supply chain. Most recently, along with colleagues, she has published journal articles in International Marketing Review, Journal of Fashion Marketing and Management, and the Clothing and Textiles Research Journal.
