Sharon Scholtes Coleman

, ASID Allied Member, IDEC, is an Associate Professor and Program Coordinator at Middle Tennessee State University, where she has been in the in the Human Sciences faculty since 1983 as the Program Coordinator for the Interior Design Program. She has been instrumental in the integration of technology throughout the Interior Design curriculum and has received numerous internal and external grants. Her areas of specialization include architectural/interior design history, lighting, residential design, universal design, sustainable design and computer-aided design. She received the 2008 Award for Innovative Excellence in Teaching, Learning and Technology and is a Registered Interior Designer in the State of Tennessee.
