Jeannie Ireland , PhD, is a Professor Emerita of Housing and Interior Design in the Fashion and Interior Design Department at Missouri State University. A diversified individual, she has degrees in Greek, biology and Physiology, Clothing and Textiles, and Environmental Design. Ireland has a passion for traveling and has so far managed to study and photograph architecture in 54 countries. She has taught residential design for over 25 years and was awarded the 2005 College Teaching Award.
