, PhD, is an Apparel Buyer at ThinkGeek, Inc., located in Fairfax, VA. She has worked as an Assistant Professor in Fashion Merchandising at Marymount University and as a merchandiser at an export house as well as a buyer with an apparel retail chain. She serves on the editorial board of Journal of Fashion Marketing and Management and her research interests focus on international retailing, consumer behavior, and emerging markets. Halepete is a member of International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA), American Collegiate Retailing Association (ACRA), and Academy of International Marketing (AIM).
