Lori Knowles
has over 25 years of experience in the fashion industry as a patternmaker. Her experience includes assistant production management and production pattern making for Marian Clayden Inc. and Pacific Rim Manufacturing. Knowles is a former instructor at West Valley College in the Fashion Design and Apparel Technology Department. She is currently the owner of Lori Ann Design in Ferndale CA, and works as a freelance patternmaker with Left In Stitches, Castleware and many other companies. Her area of interest in research is the history and construction of clothing and she maintains a collection of vintage clothing from the 1840's to the 1940's.
